Don’t worry Sam, you do not sound like a jerk. I am not sure about the top to bottom mirror idea (although I don’t think top and bottom are especially important to the idea of this painting, but are important visually in it.) I think covering a wall, or an entire room, could be very cool (or maybe a cube or a sphere).

Hi Luke – I love this! I hope I don’t sound like some kind of jerk, but I could really imagine this in a kind of repeating pattern as wallpaper for a kids room. Like, you could mirror the image top to bottom and get a nice repeat, then offset on the left and right so the rainbow lines meet up with each other. I don’t know, I just think that would be cool.

Haha, it would be great to go into the art store and ask for some Family Sized Watercolor paper. I am still optimistic about the scale, but it is posing some issues, both good and bad, that I have previously only read about.

I think you’re going to need a category titled EXTRA large Sheet of Watercolor Paper – Family Size
This should be interesting and I’m curious to see how you solve issues on working on a larger scale.

I really liked these, the first one especially; that’s awesome. Everybody can relate to that feeling, the frustration of being a kid. Then the mother’s blank stare. great stuff.
