No One Could See or Hear the Parade

I like the idea of a parade much more than I like watching parades. I really like how the parading rabbits have a very similar look to there Mario-ish counterparts. I thought this one was a lot of fun to draw and will probably do some more parades in the future.

This painting in particular is reminding me of the “Emperor’s New Clothes” story. Here’s why. The rabbits on the ground appear to me as rabbit-skins and/or clothing and all the parading rabbits are baring their all in lead for an Emperor Rabbit.
A naked rabbit parade is a fun story! (in my mind anyhow.)

If only I could have learned more about foreshortening during drawing class. Rabbit-skins is interesting.
