Sorry for the slight blurring, the camera seems to be off its mark again.

There is just something quiet about a giant butterfly flying to oblivion. Plus I think the colors really took off.

I don’t use untitled on a painting or a blog post very often. I usually feel I am clever enough to come up with something, even if it is not the title. I couldn’t really come up with anything on this one. I kind of think more things would be lost, rather than gained, with the addition of a title.
I imagine that if you are worried about wrecking a piece with a title it is probably not that strong of a piece.

“Why paint?”
Right now I am sort of thinking, “if I don’t paint my paintings, who will paint them?”
The next logical question is “who cares?”
I would respond “I care.”
“Then paint them dear Henry.”
“Fine, I will.”
“Fine.”
“Fine.”

I really need to get out of the habit of placing a dinosaur in the bottom left-hand corner, even if their bicycle is being stolen.

I guess it goes without saying I have had little experience with real life ferris wheels (sp?) but I do like the way this one turned out. Also I feel rather glad to successfully use the advance drawing technique of “overlaping things”.

I like the idea of a parade much more than I like watching parades. I really like how the parading rabbits have a very similar look to there Mario-ish counterparts. I thought this one was a lot of fun to draw and will probably do some more parades in the future.

Not too much going on, but I felt good about the composition. Should infinite cycles go off the page? Yes, I think they should.
