Now that it is finished, I guess this painting doesn’t look as quasi-patriotic as I thought it did. Still I think I better lay off the red a blue. I also think I better lay off the birds as well. I need a shake up.

can’t wait. i thought all the grays and browns were pretty up-shaking, and it made me go back and review your work - some things i thought i hated it turned out i liked and vice versa. i’d love to see them all together in person.
